Keep using QuickBooks.
We handle the EU paperwork.
Every country in Europe wants invoices in its own electronic format. We convert the ones you already send into that format, email the compliant document to your client, and keep a legal copy for ten years.
legal
archive
Different countries. Different formats. Same fines.
If you sell to a customer in any of these countries, an electronic invoice in the right format is, or soon will be, the only kind of invoice that counts.
Rest of Europe
Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Ireland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania.
Wider Europe
United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland.
Worldwide
Singapore, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and more on the public roadmap.
Dates reflect publicly announced mandates as of May 2026 and may be adjusted by national authorities. We update country coverage as legislation changes. You don't have to do anything.
Three things happen. None of them happen to you.
Connect Pactaro once. We sit between your accounting software and the law.
We read each invoice
the moment you send it
Connect QuickBooks or Xero in about 90 seconds, with read-only OAuth. After that, every new invoice triggers Pactaro within seconds.
We convert it
to the required format
Each country has its own format. We translate your invoice into the one your client's country requires and email the compliant document. National networks (SdI, Peppol, KSeF) are rolling out.
We archive it for ten years
so an auditor can't argue
Every invoice is stored in immutable, GoBD-compliant archive, with the signed XML, the human-readable PDF, and a hash you can verify yourself. Export the lot as a ZIP whenever you want.
A dashboard built around one question.
"Am I compliant?". Answered the second you open the app.
- One status banner. Green, amber, or red. You'll see the colour from across the room.
- Plain English everywhere. "German format", "Belgian network". No XRechnung or Peppol BIS 3.0 unless you go looking.
- Errors that tell you the fix. Not "Error 422". Instead: "Your client's VAT looks wrong, update it in QuickBooks."
- An archive your accountant can search. Invite them once. They'll thank you in March.
One job, done thoroughly.
There are bigger tools and more colourful ones. We do one thing and we do it like it matters, because it does.
Built for the rules, by people who read them
The format mappings come straight from the regulations — EN 16931, §14 UStG, the Factur-X spec — not from a vendor's API doc. Every document is validated against the official schematron rules before it leaves our pipeline.
Read-only by default
We never write back to your QuickBooks. We never see anything you haven't already finalised and sent. Audit-friendly, lawyer-friendly, you-friendly.
Hosted in Frankfurt
Data stays in the EU. TLS 1.3 in transit, encryption at rest, daily off-site backups. ISO 27001 certification is on our roadmap.

We're in private beta. The first thirty companies to connect get Pactaro completely free, for as long as the beta runs. No card. No contract. When we launch paid plans, you decide whether to keep going. That's the whole deal.
Everything included
Every EU format, all integrations, the full 10-year archive, accountant access. Nothing held behind a paywall.
Shape what we build
You're among the first thirty companies using this in production. New countries, new features, integrations — your feedback is what decides the order they ship in.

Honest answers to the awkward questions.
We'd rather you sign up knowing what we are than what we aren't.

What if my client's country isn't supported yet?
My accountant handles this. Why would I need you?
Where is my data, and who can see it?
What if I cancel? Do I lose the archive?
Why isn't this just built into QuickBooks?
Do you support invoices to Italy?

Free during our private beta. Connect QuickBooks or Xero, watch your next invoice come out at the other end in the right format. If it doesn't feel quietly miraculous, you owe us nothing because you were never paying.
